I have been waiting to share this gorgeous coastal sunset proposal with you!! Brendon and Celes shared THE MOST special evening getting engaged. Not only are they the sweetest couple together, but Brendon really outdid himself with the set up! It looked like it was straight out of the Bachelorette in the best way!
The whole event was orchestrated by Your Era Events, and they did a fantastic job. The heart arch made of roses, the candles lining the walkway and the neon sign!? It was beautiful! And all set to the backdrop of the ocean. I mean, does it get any better!?

From the second I arrived, the energy was so warm and intentional from everyone. Celes was so surprised and elated. And she looked PERFECT in her little black dress. Watching realization dawn on her as they approached the proposal site was so much fun!
What she didn’t know was that her family and closest people were secretly hiding nearby, ready to witness one of the biggest moments of her life.
As the sun started dipping lower over the water, he took her hand and led her toward the rose-covered setup for their coastal sunset proposal.
You could instantly feel the emotion between them. She looked at him with those wide, teary eyes like she already knew something life-changing was about to happen.
Then he got down on one knee. (cue me internally screaming of happiness behind my camera!!)
One of my favorite parts was how fully present they were with each other. Nothing felt rushed. They soaked in every second. They held hands, laughed through tears, and celebrated in the sweetest way.
You just know this is going to be a day they tell the story of over and over.
And it’s really profoundly special to watch it play out in real life. It’s even more special for me, as a California wedding photographer, to get to capture it!
Right after she said yes, their family came running over from where they had been watching.
Everyone was cheering, hugging, crying, and celebrating together. It instantly turned from an intimate proposal into the biggest love-filled celebration.
You could tell how deeply loved and supported these two are. That kind of energy changes everything. It made the night feel even more emotional and unforgettable.
