There are some couples who come into your life for one season, and there are others who invite you into their full love story Ashley and Jose are that kind of couple.

From the moment Jose planned the sweetest proposal, I had the honor of documenting every chapter of their story as it unfolded across Southern California.

We got to photograph across Marina Del Rey to Beverly Hills, Montecito, Moorpark, and even DTLA. Every session reflected who they are: warm, playful, deeply connected, and completely themselves.

As a Southern California wedding photographer, these long-term relationships with my clients are the dream.

Where Their Full Love Story All Began

Their story started with a proposal that felt intimate, emotional, and so full of excitement for what was ahead. You can peek at those photos here! Soon after came their engagement session, where it was easy to see how natural they were together. 

We frolicked around the gardens. Taking romantic, sweeping photos in the lush, green environment. It was everything I dream about as a wedding photographer! 

After two sessions together, by the time their wedding day rolled around, it felt less like photographing clients and more like celebrating dear friends.

And then, when these two had some exciting news to share, they reached out to me again to document this next chapter:

Their pregnancy announcement!

We met up in the lavender fields for these photos. Ashley wore the cutest two piece set to show off her growing baby bump, and they brought adorable props for their picnic. Including the sonogram photos for the classic announcement photos.

Doesn’t she look like a VISION!? I loved this session so much!

They also brought me into their full love story when it was time for their baby shower!

I had the great privilege of meeting back up with so many of their friends and family while they celebrated the new little one who was about to join the family!

I loved their theme: We Can Bear-ly Wait. So freaking cute!!

Watching these two grow from newlyweds into parents has been one of the greatest gifts of my job.

Every season brought something new, but their connection stayed the same. It was always full of comfort, trust, and that can’t-stop-smiling kind of love.

The latest session we did was their newborn photos! This sweet baby was born into the most beautiful little family.

And I have felt so lucky to document their full love story as they grew their lives around their love.
